There are a several possible causes for the camera not to appear on screen/not to be recognised by the computer or the software programme. If neither of the above solutions helps then the webcamera microphone might be at fault so contact us or email us at and let us know that it is happening so we can get it sorted asap! Select the USB2 Microphone option and click on "Apply" at the bottom right of the window. In Windows 10 go to Settings then use the "Find a setting" search box at top right and type in "sounds".
In Windows XP from the Control Panel select Sounds and Audio Devices, in the window that opens look under the Audio tab for Sound Recording and select the usb2 microphone as the default device. Now return to the capture software programme and repeat the first part of the above instructions. In Windows 7 find the icon for the microphone in your Control Panel, in the Sound folder look under the Recordings tab and Secondly you may need to adjust your computer's default option for sound hardware.
